Welcome to the Nu nest.....
Our arrival to Montreal has been nothing short of epic and fantastic!. The second day we called 2 places only,
the first place was great. The landlord came to pick us up, super friendly and ready to let us move in then......
but we had our hearts set on this pad we saw on craigslist.com from Nelson.
We went to see the place and surely thought we were not going to get it. Back to hotel, rest our tired heads
and when we woke, ring ring!!!
We got the place. HA HA!. 1600 square feet of loveliness. I have to also note the weather here has been exarordinary.
We arrived to a balmy 15 degrees, so unexepecting!. Since then it has been sunny skies every day, heaps and loads
of outdoor adventures.

WE MADE IT! To all my beloved friend, and customers, fellow artists and freeks, THANK YOU!
Without your support I could not have done this! We had many hurdles to actually get here. We had to ditch driving the Subaru as it was a freekin lemon of a car.
I dont think it would have made it past calgary!!. So after 1 week of indesicion and pondering this mechanical situation, we said "screw it" and went and bought plane tickets!!.I will continue the story with pictures.I cannot upload pictures today, but I will very soon after we purchase a macbook.
The main point is, we made it, we love it and we are already THRIVING here.
Our belongings should arrive soon on the greyhound, we have just bought furniture for our rad new studio and today we are finding our way around this amazing neighbourhood. whew!! My time is up on this computer so I will get back on tomorrow
I LOVE YOU KIM.... I have not forgot about you, just super busy, exited,and really tired!!

Hello digi world.........
I have been on hiatus,dreaming,manifesting and harmonizing with myself! This year has been busy! I have not really
taken the time to hang out and explore, so I DID!!.
I stood in a freezing cold mountain river,soaked in hotsprings,met many new people whom I treasure.
Watched it freeze and snow in early october,gardens covered in ice and sayed good bye to the mountains.
I met a river,otter,bear,pelican,eagles,deer and a beaver.
I gave almost my whole studio away for free to rad artists, purged my whole wardrobe, and saved 4 totes of the best
of the best!.
I am buying a Macbook, got my first Ipod, and learned how to not be intimidated by the breaker box.
I have not sewed in 2 weeks or more, my notebooks are full of Elysium sketches and I have a wild trip ahead of me.

I AM LEAVING TO MONTREAL IN 2 DAYS!!!
It has finally come together, the culmination of all of our plans. I try to imagine certain moments in life and laugh out
loud when they actually happen, even my creative mind could not have drummed up such creative circumstances.

With me is my precious sewing machines and handmade patterns,my screenprinting kit, and 10 yards of black jersey!!.
One suitcase of clothes,a journal, camera and a small shrine basket. Mark is only bringing his Tai Chi books and swords,
his basket of clothes and a small art supply kit.

I am still surprised we widdled everything in our lives down to fit in our Subaru XL wagon. It is perfect. Our adventure is
finally starting!!! Pictures soon.

Dont want to wait to be near the rising sun,but I have to..........
Sorry for the hiatus, life is full of unexpected surprises and experiments.
I have been busy preparing to move, closing the studio and giving
stuff away!!!
I wanted to post what I have been up to since the month started, which is not that
much since the big changes. I have also been sicker than I ever have been!.
Coughing sucks, it sucks my oxygen away!.

Last night I smelled the fall coming. The air was different. You know!
Here is what I have been up to .
I am super happy with my Night School design, it uses alot of fabric,
but I LOVE IT.
I feel like my best design seasons are fall and winter. I dig the layers
and extra use of fabric. My mind always wanders warmer seasons
and waiting for hoodies,jackets,layers!.
