YUP! our new studio and home. YA!!

Welcome to the Nu nest.....
Our arrival to Montreal has been nothing short of epic and fantastic!. The second day we called 2 places only,
the first place was great. The landlord came to pick us up, super friendly and ready to let us move in then......
but we had our hearts set on this pad we saw on craigslist.com from Nelson.
We went to see the place and surely thought we were not going to get it. Back to hotel, rest our tired heads
and when we woke, ring ring!!!
We got the place. HA HA!. 1600 square feet of loveliness. I have to also note the weather here has been exarordinary.
We arrived to a balmy 15 degrees, so unexepecting!. Since then it has been sunny skies every day, heaps and loads
of outdoor adventures.
Here are some landing pictures!

times are a changin

Hey Yall !
Last night I smelled the fall coming. The air was different. You know!
Here is what I have been up to .
I am super happy with my Night School design, it uses alot of fabric,
but I LOVE IT.
I feel like my best design seasons are fall and winter. I dig the layers
and extra use of fabric. My mind always wanders warmer seasons
and waiting for hoodies,jackets,layers!.

Unwound

I apolagize for my diasapearing act. It was much needed.
Unwound-excellent band and also state of mind. Could describe
melodic dissonance and bridging pressure.Yup!. This summer has
been very revealing in so many ways. My husband and I are self
realized that it is time to leave the Shire. The Shire now feels like
a sleeping mouse. We are craving language, culture, smells, and
adventure. There has been a itch for a while now.
Sometimes intuitions come and go, then make more sense later
in a prolific moment or spiritual experience.
Well I have had a couple really intense experiences, and now have
just really got it!
We are leaving our country life and headed out east in the fall
We will have the lovely Montreal as our destination.
It is a relief just typing that!! Ya fabric stores, and hopefully playing
in a band again!
I just miss jamming so much. The thought of playing a show again
just sends shivers up my spine.
This is a huge thing for me because I have only been to Saskatchewan
and Seattle, Washington. I cant wait to see the country.
Well enough blabbering , here is what I have been up to.....

Cienturon

This picture is the walk back up the hill to my studio from downtown. Look up, way up. I really like having my studio out of the mess, but this walk is bad ass!!. Actually it is good ass because it keeps me in shape!.

Could not help my self from exploiting Bob!. he is just hanging there on the wall begging for my attention today, sooo
I gave him some much needed attention. LOL

These pictures were taken when I had my Studio/Boutique downtown. We had these parking lots out front my store, and I just hated the thought of cars there, so my friend Benji set up his Clean Bean scene.
A little red and white trailer, a big white circus tent, and alot of high end espresso!!
He made it thru the summer, winter, and spring and then went back to Iowa City.
During that winter we had Poetry Revivals on Friday afternoons. Imagine whipping ice wind and snow gusts,
hot coffee, kids and dogs, spoken word and music. Some of the best poetry I have ever heard happened in that tent.
Well thank you Dana for splicing these pics together for me and framing them so nicely!

Here is a shot of some of my new obi belts, and clothes......

Cienturon Obi Belts, super fun to make!
